Not a neighborhood to would walk around alone at night, but is safe in the daytime; police station is around the corner.

Cecil's Texas Style - good, assuming you like Texas-style brisket, sausage, pork loin, etc. They smoke over hickory, and so do you once you've sat down to eat; you can smell someone who's eaten at Cecil's from 20 feet. This is a pleasant change from the usual. The service is attentive and the atmosphere is quite nice. I was surprised to find cloth napkins and tablecloths. For those who prefer status quo to the "unusual" fare … just try it & you will return. They have steaks and fried shrimp for the timid of your party. The price is right! Portions are filling, clean, and healthy (17 Dec 2001).

German deli - in a strip mall in the Buena Ventura Lakes area of Kissimmee. Quite authentic (they make you clean the tables) and every plate is perfect before it comes off the line.
